Here are some samples of my past editorial work collaborated with various directors and photographers around the world.

Photo VOUGE Italia

This location photo-shoot was done in Tokyo and Kyoto. I made the shooting arrangement and worked as a translator for the production besides my main work as a makeup artist. The art director was Richeille Formento and the photographer was BJ Formento. Their base is New York but they flue to Japan to create their art pieces. I met them at their test shooting when I stayed in New York. I really wanted to collaborate with them at that time. However, I had to fly back to Japan so I had no opportunity to work with them. In a couple years, we have met again in Tokyo for this project and finally were able to have a photo-shooting together. The theme for the photo-shooting was expressing Japanese cultures with their unique artistic eyes in Western style. Our work was selected by Alessia Glaviano, photo editor of Vogue Italia.

Exhibition Photo Shoots

The art exhibition called Japan Diary made a great success. The exhibitions have taken place in Paris, New York, Los Angels, and Miami. We received TV and other media exposures through the exhibitions. The pictures for Japan Diary were printed as a book as well. The photo-shoot was done in Tokyo and Kyoto. I coordinated shooting location and scheduling as well working as a makeup artist. The art director was Richeille Formento and the photographer was BJ Formento from New York. Each picture is like one scene in a movie.

Magazine/Press

I have internationally worked on various projects. My past work has been selected for the cover page of Digital Photo Magazine US and the feature pages. I have worked with Miss Universe Japan for some editorial projects in Japan. One of the amazing experiences that I had in the past was working for Japan premiere. For the new movie premiere “The Danish Girl,” I had a wonderful opportunity to do hair and makeup for Oscar-winning Eddie Redmayne’s wife. The moments when they were walking on the red carpet were very inspiring for me.
